If you want to know in depth how our furniture is made, what type of material it is made of or how you can clean it, don't stop reading.

SUNGKAI WOOD

The Sungkai wood, a large tree from Indonesia, is a low-density material that allows us to easily mould it into unique furniture designs. Much of our furniture is made from this wood, which comes from sustainable forests.

After a delicate and beautiful process we achieve furniture of very good quality and durability, ensuring that it can live in your home for many years.

How to care for Sungkai wood?
Clean with a cloth dampened in soapy water.
Rinse with a clean damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive products.

TREMBESÍ WOOD

In a Wabi-Sabi home, nature is always present, which is why we opt for Trembesí wood furniture.

The Trembesí or also called rain tree is present in subtropical areas where the humid climate facilitates its growth.

Resistance is the main characteristic of this type of wood, guaranteeing the durability of all furniture. Its trunk is large, which allows the grains to be more homogeneous.

The color may vary depending on the age of the tree, so each piece is truly unique with no possibility of two pieces being exactly the same.

RATTAN

Rattan is another essential material in a Wabi-Sabi home. Thanks to the resistance and flexibility of the stems, it can be molded to create unique pieces with personality.

Choosing this material for your home will help you create fresh and light spaces for life.

How to care for rattan?
Clean once a year with a cloth and linseed oil.
Do not expose to sun or rain.
Do not use abrasive products.

MDF boards

MDF is the abbreviation of Medium Density Fiberboard, a material composed of fibrous elements of wood that has a fine and smooth texture.

It is a very resistant material thanks to the synthetic resin that is used as a binder giving consistency to the entire structure. Depending on the type of furniture it may have one finish or another:

First of all, we have furniture made of MDF with a natural oak veneer attached. This oak veneer has beautiful grains that give life to each piece, and a transparent varnish is also applied that guarantees its long life.

On the other hand, thanks to the excellent MDF base it can be painted or lacquered in any color to achieve a completely homogeneous finish. In our case, we always opt for neutral tones that help create calm homes.

How to care for the DM?
Clean with a damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive products.
